Jim Koudys
Jim Koudys (born January 9, 1964) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey player. Selected by the New York Islanders in the 12th round (252nd overall), he was the last player taken in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Born in 1964 in Grimsby, Ontario, Koudys played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Sudbury Wolves.〔(Koudys Fitting In Fine As Game Progresses | Fox News )〕 He began his professional career in 1984 with the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League, where over two seasons he played 66 games and registered 3 goals, 13 points, and 34 penalty minutes. Koudys also played 66 games in the International Hockey League with the Indianapolis Checkers and Peoria Rivermen, where he scored a combined total of 41 points with 44 penalty minutes. == Personal information == Koudys' son, Patrick, is currently playing as a defenceman in the NCAA, formerly with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and now with The Pennsylvania State University under head coach Guy Gadowsky.
